Should Chias drinks be stored in the refrigerator?
Factory sealed Chias drinks need not to be stored in the refrigerator. Bear in mind, however, that after opening, you should keep them in the fridge not longer than 24 hours.
Do you add sugar to your products?
We do not add sugar to our products. Inside Chias bottles you will only find natural fruit sugar. There is as much of sugar in Chias as there is in an average-size apple. The difference is that an apple with peel has 1.5 grams of fiber, while Chias (depending on flavour) has at least twice as much!
How many seeds can I eat per day?
Recommended daily dose of seeds is about 15 grams. There is less than that in each of our products. Chia seeds after soaking get surrounded by gel sheath and increase their size 10 times - that is why they fill the entire bottle.
Are Chias drinks advisable for pregnant women? Can breastfeeding women eat them?
Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids contained in chia seeds are essential for the proper development of the brain and the whole nervous system of an infant. However, every organism is different, therefore, with the concern about women's health, we recommend consulting your doctor first. The only exception is Chias Energy, which, due to the high content of caffeine, is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
Is Chias appropriate for children? How old should children be to start drinking Chias ?
Children can eat chia seeds since they are 3 years old. However, every organism is different, therefore, with the concern about children's health, we recommend consulting pediatrician first. What does it mean that Chias drinks are based on concentrated juice?
Concentrated juice is formed after evaporation of a certain amount of water, which "condenses" its taste, while the juice still remains fully natural. We do not add any thickeners, artificial substances or flavours to our products. Their consistency is due to the appropriate dose of chia seeds.
